Turns itself off which makes it useless

I have the app on my iPhone 6s. The app came as part of McAfee software that I purchased for my computer. The app has one major flaw. It turns itself off. When you open it you have to go through the entire setup process again. Countless times. My pictures are still in the vault after the setup is complete but I wouldnt risk only having them in this program. I also doubt that the security features, like finding my lost phone or taking a photo of someone trying to get into my phone, will work since the program resets itself. I know it does not work when my kids mess up my password 3 times.

There has to be something better out there.
